The Arbeitskreis Software-Qualität und -Fortbildung e.V. (ASQF) is the competence network for software quality in German-speaking countries. Intensive contact with institutions, universities and supra-regional committees enables the ASQF e. V. as a network to strengthen the exchange of experience, innovative ideas and knowledge for the development of high-quality software and to promote training and further education in this field.

    Membership for start-ups is possible at particularly favorable conditions in the first year. From the second year onwards, the company is treated as a normal corporate member and integrated according to the membership fee table based on the number of employees.     As a corporate member, the contribution depends on the size of the company (number of employees). Any company can become a member.
    A natural person must be appointed as a company member of the ASQF, who is the contact person for the ASQF and exercises voting rights. This fee is for a full year and can be adjusted every six months, depending on the date of joining. An overview of the membership fees can be found in the current membership fee regulations.

    1-25 employees: 325 euros plus VAT.
    26-50 employees: 390 euros plus VAT.
    51-250 employees: 500 euros plus VAT.
    251-500 employees: 650 euros plus VAT.
    501-1,500 employees: 975 euros plus VAT.
    >1500 employees: 1,300 euros plus VAT.
    Startup membership: reduced fee in the 1st year 130 euros plus VAT.

    Personal membership

    Individuals can apply for personal membership. Anyone is welcome to become a member of the ASQF e.V.. Students, trainees, pensioners and severely disabled persons can benefit from the reduced rate with appropriate proof.

    As a new customer at iSQI GmbH, you can start with a one-time free trial membership, which can then automatically be converted into a regular membership.

    If you are QAMP certified, you can take advantage of a free QAMP membership. For more information, please visit the official certification website.

    Start-up membership

    Start-up membership is a discounted company membership. The ASQF e. V. classifies a company as a start-up if it fulfills the following criteria (based on the German Start-up Monitor):

     

    • Age: The company was founded no more than 3 years ago.
    • Degree of innovation: The company is characterized by a high degree of innovation, i.e. it is highly innovative with its technology and/or its business model.
    • Growth potential: The company is characterized by significant employee and/or sales growth or is aiming for this.

I have been an active member of the German Testing Board since 2001 – which started out as an ASQF working group in the early years – and helped to successfully launch the Certified Tester examination scheme on the market.

    How can I register?

    How can I get to know the ASQF e. V.?

    Would you like to become part of the largest German-speaking network of experts for systems and software quality? Then we should get to know each other personally.     How can I get involved in a specific subject area within the ASQF e. V.?

    The best contacts for this are our specialist groups. The evening meetings and ASQF Days focus on current topics and innovative concepts. Here you have the opportunity to introduce yourself and contribute your ideas. You also benefit directly from the knowledge and experience of other professionals in your sector.

    How high is the annual contribution?

    The membership fee depends on the type of membership.

    The fee for regular personal membership is €95 per year. For students, trainees, pensioners and severely disabled persons, it is €50 per year with appropriate proof.

    Corporate membership fees are staggered depending on the size of the company and start at € 325 per year. Start-ups receive a discounted corporate membership of € 130 per year for the first year.
