General Terms and Conditions

§1 The registration of the participant for events of the ASQF e.V., hereinafter referred to as the organizer, takes place via the ASQF website, by post or e-mail. If requested by telephone, the organizer will make a reservation on request, to which the organizer is bound for a period of two weeks. The reservation expires if no written registration is received within this period. The organizer confirms the registration by receipt of the invoice by the participant. The contract is concluded upon receipt of the invoice.

§2 Invoices are due immediately upon receipt and without deduction. Partial payments are not possible. If the invoice has not been paid in full or in part by the start of the event, the organizer is entitled to refuse the contractual partner participation in the event. If the payment deadline is exceeded, the organizer reserves the right to charge interest on arrears at the customary rate.

§3 Withdrawal from the contract by the registered participant is only possible in writing and by registered letter. If the organizer receives the declaration of withdrawal up to 14 weekdays before the start of the event, a processing fee of 50% of the invoice amount will be charged. The remaining part of the invoice amount will be refunded. In the event of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal less than 14 weekdays before the start of the event, the full invoice amount will be charged as a processing fee. Substitution of the registered participant is possible without incurring additional costs.

§4 The organizer has the right to cancel the event, relocate the venue or change the date of the event, in particular if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the speakers are unavailable, the venue is unavailable, force majeure or other reasons for which the organizer is not responsible. Fees already paid will only be refunded if the event is canceled. In the event of a change of location or date, the participant may withdraw from the contract without incurring any costs. Any compensation and consequential costs incurred by event participants due to the cancellation or change of the event location or date are excluded.

§5 Liability for damages of any kind caused by the organizer, a legal representative or a vicarious agent is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

§6 By registering, the participant agrees to the processing of the personal data collected for the purposes of course and examination processing and to the subsequent sending of information in connection with vocational training.

§7 Collateral agreements must be made in writing to be valid.

§8 The invalidity of individual provisions of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In the event of the invalidity of one or more provisions, the contracting parties shall agree on a legally valid substitute provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.

§9 The place of jurisdiction shall be Potsdam. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply to contracts and all legal relationships.
