The Rhine-Main Safety specialist group was founded in 2009 and has been managed by Marco Schuster and Vera Gebhardt ever since. The Safety in Franconia specialist group quickly followed under the leadership of Bernhard Sechser and has since been successfully expanded to include Safety & Security.

Functional safety and IT security influence each other and must be treated at least according to the state of the art and on the basis of current legal regulations. The often competing protection goals must be achieved and maintained across different disciplines, in different industries, for different products and their variants.

Our specialist group offers a professional platform for openly addressing and discussing topics, problems, ideas and solutions. In addition, there are valuable network contacts and the creation and provision of specialist contributions at our specialist group meetings.
