Thema “Agile Testing at XING”
Abstract:
This talk shares practical experience based on the role of the agile tester XING:
• the product specialist: tools and techniques to acquire, broaden and use the product knowledge
• the quality driver: ways to diminish the number of bugs and taking release decisions based on expected outcome and risks
• the wall for the team: our incoming bug process and ensuring that the incoming bugs do not jeopardise the sprint
• the quality messenger: making quality visible for everyone by collecting metrics, fostering retrospective analysis on the testing process and effectiveness during the sprint.
• the hub: organising regular workshops with the user care team in order to collect feedback, support our client-facing colleagues and ensuring we are on the same page.
In the end you should have a better picture on testing tools and processes used at XING: from Graylog to risk and impact analysis as well as from the grooming to reality-check sessions; and will offer tips that you can apply in your own environment.
 
About the Speaker:
Anastasia Chicu is an Agile Tester at XING with over 4 years of digital experience. Since joining XING she has coordinated testing activities, supported her team and the product department, and organised regular trainings to the User Care team. Her past experience as QA in an outsourcing company has helped her develop effective communication skills in her team and with other departments. Her debate experience, on the other hand, determined her to trigger constructive discussions that add value to the product.
